Introduction
Taekyung Yoo is a Professor in the College of Art & Technology at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. With extensive expertise spanning feature films, immersive media, and digital humans, he has consistently spearheaded innovation in visual effects. He pioneered the 'VR TOON' format—an immersive VR webcomic medium—directing Help Me, which screened at the 2018 Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival, and The Tide, which earned an official selection for the New Frontier program at the 35th Sundance Film Festival. His prominent feature film credits include serving as Director of the Digital Human Lab for Along with the Gods (2017), Creature & Asset Supervisor for The Pirates (2014), and working on Mr. GO (2013).
